Connectivity check-terminate active sessions???

Hello again, Got another one of those questions I don't quite know how to ask, but I need help on this one for sure: We have a few audio streaming devices on our LAN that push the audio data to destination sites. Last night one of our internet connections went down. Three of those devices were happen to be using the connection that went down at the time, BUT...they did not try to use the other connection at all. Its almost like they were stuck trying to send through the down WAN. I can see in the log where the 2nd connection failed connectivity check, and marked the link status as inactive. My question is why didn't they switch? Especially considering all I did to re-establish the communications is go into configure, ethernet, and MANUALLY set WAN2 to inactive. As soon as I did that they reconnected. Thanks, -Alan
