I need to add a wireless connection, but so far all my connections have been wired.
Here is my current configuration:
Port....Device
1........WAN
2........Primary Desktop System
3........Second Desktop System
4........4 Port Switch
5........Free
Switch:
1........USG 20W
2........Ethernet over Power (BD Player)
3........Printer
4........Free
5........NAS
Currently USG 20W ports 2-5 are all on LAN1.
I moved the Ethernet over Power connection to the switch as I assume I need a wired port that's not being used, as there would be 3 wired, and one wireless connection. Correct?
The manual says to either create a new entry in Configuration > Network > Interface >WAN, or to edit the existing one. With all the previous warnings on not to change anything default, should that be create a new entry?
It looks like I change the Zone to LAN1, as the 2.21 Support Notes says to configure (to belong to the LAN zone. With both the WLAN users and the LAN server belonging to the same security zone, the WLAN users will be able to access the LAN service even without modifying the firewall policy). No need for new firewall rules would be good. :)
The next question then is what to use for security. Should that be either WPA-2/PSK or WPA-2 Enterprise?
