I'm currently using a Zyxel USG 50 w/ UTM enabled. My current ISP, TW, is providing me with 50/5 atm as long as I pay my monthly bill. :D
I'm getting frustrated every time I attempt to DL something which saturates my total bandwidth and crashes my USG50 due to the throughput limitation of the USG50 w/ UTM enabled. I can obviously disable UTM, but I like the warm, fuzzy feeling I get with the added security. It might be worth adding that this is for home use and not business.
Questions:
1. Is it possible to import my current router configuration from my USG50 to a next-gen USG? Most likely looking at the USG60.
2. This leads me to my second concern, should I be looking at the USG60 which only has a total throughput of 90Mbps when UTM is enabled? I'm concerned that TW might eventually decide to upgrade my area (44224) with MAX-100 and causing the same issue I have with my USG50 today.
3. Is it possible to transfer my UTM license(s) from my USG50 to a next-gen USG device?
Thank you.
