Hi all,
I'm trying to setup a dual switch, two network environment hanging off a Zywall USG100. I'm currently stuck scratching my head, can you help?
On the Zywall I've got two subnets, LAN + DMZ, both have their own DHCP server and are associated with hardware interfaces - this all works great.
What I want to do is have my LAN1 port carry both untagged (ie VLAN1 traffic) this is what almost all users will use.
I also have configured VLAN 99, this is for the DMZ. I want one client plugged into a specific port to be a member of the DMZ only.
I have two managed switches which can tag and untag traffic.
I've configured my switch (Netgear GS110TP) to accept VLAN99 traffic and put onto another phyiscal port ont the switch (nb using just one switch at the moment to remove complexity), but when I connect to it I dont get DHCP assignment from the DMZ.
What is the best/easyest way to set this up? I've had a dig through the forums and I can't see a solution that quite matches it, or gets my head around the issue.
Any help is apprecaited.
thanks
Will
