I was able to get 475 to 500Mbps (480 was common) using an over provisioned 400/20 from Spectrum (Charter) and 46/6 from AT&T using IDP and Content Filter but not AV or Anti-Spam during off peak hours with local PC antivirus often disabled. Performance was worse with a PC directly connected to the cable modem than through the USG110. At this speed, USG110 CPU utilization set for 5 second intervals would often be 100%. Extrapolating from CPU utilization, it is possible that 580Mbps could be attained with IDP and Content filter turned off (but then why buy this product).
Spectrum over provisions to cover their underwhelming performance during daylight hours where performance was often about 350 to 420 on this residential account. VPN may have affected this result. AT&T download was more steady but ping would vary.
Speed test software results varied immensely, both between products and sites. 32 download threads with 12 upload threads gave the best performance using DSLreports speed tests. Speedtest.net only offers 2 to 4 threads at most, thus typically did poorly. Old sites were worse. Firefox was the fastest browser I tested. Some PCs can only put out 100-300Mbps with gigabit cards, proper Cat 5e and beyond cables, and AV turned off.
